As I'm sure many of you know, the yellow puppy became very ill a week ago Monday. There was some confusion about parvo snap tests coming back positive and negative so we weren't really sure what was going on. He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday and released on Saturday. We are trying to limit his activity level but he is has a lot of energy! The following weekend White first, then Purple and Orange started falling ill. White and Purple were admitted to the hospital this Monday, and Orange on Tuesday. Purple came home to us on Wednesday and like yellow, we try to limit her activity level and they are doing really well, their appetite is great and they are getting lots of attention. We moved them back to the laundry room (so they are on webcam) in hopes that we will be able to bring White home late today. He will remain in my office or Larry's the first few days, to keep him in a small space and so we can watch him at all times. Orange is behind in terms of being able to come home but the vet says he has a good feeling about her getting better soon. Please call if you have any questions. And send positive thoughts to the little guys, they need all the help they can get. The rest of the pups are at Kadi's so you would need to talk to her about their status.
Black "Little Mac"
10/15/06 - 12/16/06 The black puppy, affectionately known as "Little Mac" died on 12/16/06. He was almost always the biggest in the litter, and had a special look about him, and we thought he looked like his big dad so we called him "Mac". I always said that he looked like a Sharpei that had gotten botox, because he had rolls and rolls of extra skin that presumably was there for him to grow into a very big dog, and he was especially soft and fun to cuddle with. Everyone in our family wanted to keep him, but because we already have two males, we knew we couldn't. But he holds a special place in our hearts as our "favorite boy" and we miss him a lot.
12-21-2006 Poor orange is having a hard time beating this. She is trying to eat and hold things down.
